Last Updated: September 28, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of https://des.solar (the “Site”), operated by Direct Energy Solutions, Inc. (“Direct Energy Solutions,” “DES,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
- Our Services
Direct Energy Solutions is an energy brokerage. We help homeowners and businesses evaluate solar, energy storage, roofing, HVAC, and other energy efficiency options, and we connect clients with independent installation contractors (EPCs) and financial institutions. Unless stated otherwise in a signed written agreement, installation work is performed by third-party contractors, and financing is provided by third-party lenders or leasing companies.
- Quotes and Estimates
Any quotes, savings estimates, production estimates, or pricing provided through the Site or by our representatives are estimates only and are not binding offers. Actual system size, pricing, energy production, savings, and eligibility depend on site conditions, utility rates, usage, weather, shading, program rules, credit approval, and other factors outside our control. Your final terms are set only in a signed written contract.
- Incentives, Tax Credits, and Financing
Information about tax credits, rebates, net metering, and other incentives is provided for general informational purposes only and is not tax, legal, or financial advice. Incentive programs change and eligibility varies. Consult a qualified tax professional regarding your situation. Financing and leasing are subject to approval by third-party providers and their terms.
- No Guarantee of Savings
We do not guarantee any specific energy savings, utility bill reduction, increase in home value, or return on investment. Past results and client testimonials do not guarantee future results.
- Warranties
Product and workmanship warranties are provided by manufacturers, installers, or third-party warranty providers under their own terms. Please review applicable warranty documents for coverage details. Except as expressly stated in a signed written agreement, Direct Energy Solutions does not provide warranties on products or installation.
- Communications Consent
By submitting your information through the Site, you agree that Direct Energy Solutions and its representatives may contact you by phone, email, and text message regarding your inquiry, including through automated technology, at the contact information you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages or HELP for help.
